Who We Are
Dr. Carrie Griffin is a board-certified osteopathic family medicine and addiction medicine physician. She is fellowship-trained in obstetrics and reproductive medicine. Working with women throughout their pregnancies, births and postpartum experiences led her to seek further study in trauma. She has completed training in Somatic Experiencing and NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model) therapy for complex PTSD, therapies designed to treat trauma through an embodied and relational lens, and uses these techniques as the foundation for ketamine assisted exploration with patients.
Serena Malkani M.A. is an internationally recognized sound practitioner and clinical Ayurvedic counselor. Serena’s mission is to bring awareness to ancient eastern practices, and how they complement and enhance the western approach to wellness. She integrates her psychology expertise with the medicinal qualities of Sound, Ayurveda, and Yoga to develop long-term preventative health care rituals. With over 14 years of education and practice, Serena offers a unique way to help people create change, find balance, release stuck emotions, and reduce stress and anxiety.
Rowan McClelland-Bishop is a future mental health clinician, attending the University of Oregon’s Couples and Family Therapy Program in the Fall of 2022. She has a bachelor's degree in biocultural anthropology, with a focus on the evolution of social support and birth, and applied this background in the reproductive health field as a birth doula, perinatal technician and lactation counselor before transitioning to a relational healing space. Her work with birthing people helped her to recognize her love of holding space for deep emotional experience, and witnessing the strength of those giving birth, whether to a child or a new version of themselves. Presently, Rowan feels lit up by the concepts of attachment, attunement, and interpersonal neurobiology and is fascinated by somatics, complex trauma healing, and the future of psychedelic therapy. She provides preparatory sessions for clients before they enter ketamine-assisted psychotherapy treatment, and also manages administrative tasks for the practice.
